My husband Jim and I live on our ranch in Art. Jim is a fourth-generation rancher who has been in continuous agricultural production by the same family for over 100 years. Later this year, Sid Miller will award us the “Family Land Heritage Program” award in Austin. We raise beef cattle and enjoy retirement and our two grandchildren. We live in the rock house, like the rock on our rock fences that his grandparents built in 1938.
