A native Omaha Nebraskan, now residing in the heart of Texas, Lori Triba (Tree-bah) has been an artist since about the age of 3 . . . or earlier. Studying Fine Art at The University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Omaha, she switched gears to learn Graphic Design. While attending Metro Tech in Omaha, she landed a job at the silk-screen company Print-A-Shirt in C.B., IA., designing for such entities as the NCAA. Lori honed her graphics talent and eventually branched off to freelance work. Her work has been utilized for over 39 years, including with world renown Oriental Trading Company where she was employed as a Product Designer from 1998 to 2000. Her designs were top sellers, often featured on catalog covers and seasonal themes. During that time she made the transition from old school ways of print and product design preparation, including hand-cutting Rubylith /Amberlith films with X-Acto knives, to computer graphics. Lori credits those experiences with fine-tuning her attention to the smallest detail, which is a hallmark of her services to her clients, in consulting, and in her final product. Photography is where her heart and art lie currently, and she’s received accolades as an award-winning Adobe Lightroom photographer. Lori is the mother of two wonderful children, and is blessed with two incredibly adorable grandsons.
